Think about it guys, and exhaust for the supra isn't a hard thing to get off, let alone steal. Mine is held on by two bolts and two hangers. If someone really was in a hurry, they could have mine off in 5 minutes tops. Plus the exhaust is a relatively expensive piece considering how easy it is to steal... Doubt I'll see anything of the exhaust, but I'll check around the net periodically .

i've talked to numerous people who know this guy and they all say the same thing "that guy is a theif" i know where he works now,but i dont know what to do. i'm sure he has it

I'd involve authorities, and let them sort it out. Word of mouth can get crazy.

On another local forums I visit occasionally, a guy got killed in the same situation. Someone stole an engine the guy was preparing to install. He got word who had it, and went to check it out on his own. The guy caught him under his hood, and shot and killed him. Be careful whatever you do.

Think about the people who knew it was on "loosely" or maybe jealous neighbors. Hardly sounds like a random job to me.

if you involve the authorities and they choose to pursue the thing, (tell them how much it could be worth so they do) they might be able to trace him, find his computer, and find him.

but yeah, please please dont confront him. if he's serious enough to get under a car and take the time to remove an exaust chances are he'll be very hard to deal with if you saw him. and getting killed isnt worth anything you can put on your car.
