stock is 6.8 psi. 10 psi with no other mods (intake/exhaust) is asking for trouble. you are pushing things too hard with too much restriction on the components. i suggest taking off the boost controller until after you get caught up mod wise.

Yea, the stock exhaust system is ridiculously restrictive...it will do more harm than good.

If you have a stock exhaust, more boost won't help you make any extra power...it will just generate excess heat, which is already a problem for 7M's.

Yea, something along those lines. Get a bigger exhaust and at least retorque the head before you turn up the boost.

I run 14psi every single day and i drive very hard on the factory fuel setup. Granted my car is in great shape mechanically and my HG is torqued down to 70lbs.

Mods
Intake
3 inch (elbow back)
holes in my accordian hose (boot leg but it gets the job done raises boost cut :icon_bigg )
Shimmed Waste-gate

Do you have a stock head gasket or a metal headgasket? Also do you have stock headbolts? If so you should get some arp headbolts.

I'm running 18 psi with ARP head bolts, metal head gasket, 550cc injectors, Lexus AFM, Apexi Cold air, 3.5" down pipe with 3.5" full exhaust, SAFCII and AFPR. No probs.

^ don't type in all capital letters. it's really annoying, and considered yelling on the internet. i edited your post so that nobody else would jump on you for it.

with that said, are you on the stock turbo? if so, you're asking for trouble. 15+psi on the stock ct-26 is just blowing heat.

If the car is bone stock its hard to even get high boost anyway. You have to really push it. On the highway you might. 10psi takes a lil while

well 10 should be fine not doin destructive damage. but if u go up to 15 u need to retorque the head and get an exhaust. gauges are life savers so invest in them to see what ur car is doin. but wit the stuff u listed u can do 15 but u wont feel any big difference
