WeDgE: that sucks about your motor, I hope mine doesn't go kaboom so soon haha, what a waste of 6 months at $6k that would be..

Probably the stupidest thing I could have done, I did, was just that. I wish I got my injectors checked and/or cleaned before I put everything back together. It only takes about 45 minutes to get them all out but I don't want to have to deal with shipping them and waiting XX amount of time to get them back. But again, they worked perfect on the old motor with no problems...

Well I fixed the running rich problem! Now I'm really starting to think my issues have something to do with the way I plumbed my vacuum manifold. I originally had the MAP sensor plumbed to the vacuum manifold - ran like crap. Switched that to the port on the tb, didn't stumble as much but I don't think that as a good vacuum source. Tonight I switch it to the nipple on the back of the manifold and AFRs are back where they're supposed to be! Stayed at 14.7-15.2:1. But now it's missing somehow and when I "blip" the throttle it bogs down and crap...What's causing it to miss?? It's all over

I noticed you have the stock fpr. Did you test fp via the TSRM? I know u cannot adjust with the stock fpr, but that will def. help solve how much fp you have? (Also make sure when ckg. fp, that you read the TSRM, bec. your readings will be diff. with vacuum on/off. Hope this helps.

I haven't gotten to checking the fuel pressure yet...My car got kicked out of the garage, now I have to work in the driveway and it keeps raining! :rant2:
Anyway, did a vacuum check just now and it comes out perfect at a steady 20lb/hg at idle, when I hit the throttle it drops to 0 or near 0 (just barely revving at the butterfly valve on the tb). Isn't the motor supposed to increase speed if the connector to the TPS is removed??? I took it off and it was exactly the same, but the TPS isn't throwing any codes, wtf? I bought a multimeter and I was thinking it is faulty or something, when I was testing both of my TPSes they both came out exactly the same, but the lowest I could get them (4 days ago) was like 6.65v or something? No where near the 5v it's stupposed to be. And then testing my MAP sensor the voltage was a little higher as well. ***NEW OBSERVATION*** I thought it was normal until tonight when it really sounded normal. When I turn my car on it makes a weird sound behind the cam gear backing plate. It's really hard to describe, its almost like a smooshing, but not of air? And tonight I started it up and it didn't do it and I was thinking, "hey, that sounds a lot more like a normal motor" and then it slowly started making that sound again. Is it just air in the cooling system because I haven't burped it yet? Looking down at the valve covers it seems like the noise is coming out right from the hole between the valve covers directly behind the cam backing plate.

I'm pretty sure I've got the fuel where I want it at idle, AFRs are normal now. Only problem is when I hit the gas it bogs down. I don't think the fuel filter has ever been changed, nor the pump. Could either of those do it? I don't have an AFPR yet so I didn't want to get a walbro and blow up my stock FPR...

The TPS has 2 circuit functions,
1. To send a voltage to the ECU which controls Idle speed/control via ISC valve on off operation,
2. To supply Throttle position to the ECU via linear Voltage (0.5-4.6v or so).

If your TPS Idle circuit is fine and is sending the Idle on condition to the ECU then the car will idle fine, as soon as you touch the Throttle the ECU recognises this and switches idle control off, it then reads the Throttle position info mation to adjust the ammount of fueling need, in your case from what you have said, the ECU will read the Throttle postion as 100% (as its seeing 6.6v) when you touch the pedal - hence the over fueling.

I would swap out the TPS with a known working one, at least to eliminate it from the suspects.
