Is a 10.0 rich enough to cause an rough ride in boost?

When I boost in 1st and 2nd gear I drop down to 10.0 and it is a rough ride (which is why I don't boost often). Not as bad as a miss and my plugs are new and gapped correctly.

seeing as 10:1 is the bottom of the scale on most (maybe all?) widebands you could be aproaching 9:1 for all you know. Basically you are off the scale pig rich and yes that can definately cause issues. Before I had Lucy tuned after my rebuild I would hit that far down the scale and it would buck like hitting fuel cut.

Thanks guys.

Just to clarify, I'm not after a 10.0, that's just what I'm at right now. I have not started my tuning process.

Good idea weezL, You may be correct on that, but at the same time it'll fluctuate a few tenths so I think I'm staying higher on the 10 scale but as you pointed out, no way to know :)

I just wanted to see if that was a possible problem so I didn't try and chase down other shit.

I'll get started tuning as soon as I can find a way to rig my damn Vista lappy to communicate with my maft proness
