CF is bad for a road car though... One nick in it and it WILL fail, it's just when. At least when it fails it doesn't do any damage though :D

Another +1 for a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft from ShaftMasters.

The only time it vibrates is when there is snow/slush/salt underneath my car or on my tires. It goes away in about 5 minutes when its thrown off. (Obviously only happens on snowy winter days).

A simple cardboard damper tube inside a metal shaft will do that ;)
My last one had the cardboard, and I now have a Shaftmasters with the foam insert. It is quieter, but still not as quiet as I would like (still sounds like knocking on a metal pole, without the ring). I was wondering if CF might have more inherent sound dampening characteristics, like a plastic would...

Does this clunk noise happen under hard/fast shifting?

I think i heard this the other day i even jacked up my car and crawled under it with the flash light to check and see if my subframe was messed up.

It sounds kinda muffled too like im holding a pillow around my head.

I have a shaftmasters 1pc aluminum, If that helps.
