1 more time, code 31, map ecu2, and vpc...wtf? Please HELP

using the map sensor that the vpc brought...before i had the field harness with the resistors and crap built into it but i sold that setup and got the map ecu2...but then i got my hands on another vpc and the problem was still there... i dun have the safc 2 anymore...just the vpc.

welp i tried the vpc with the field harness and its built in resistors and nothing...same problem...im really getting fustrated, my last resort is a diff. wiring harness. if that doesnt work...AEM here i come.

Could have damaged the VC circuits in the stock ECU from all the previous wiring attempts? may be worth trying another

Cant see it being a problem with the wiring Loom TBH, the Plug and play VPC harness has all the resistors so any breaks in the existing AFM wiring loom shouldnt make a difference.

VPC rom may be your next port of call, i know you tried it on an 89+ and it idled but did it actually run ok?

ok installed the "new" harness today, theres a wire loose on the ecu side that is brown with dark spots on it, doesnt go to any plugs, im pretty sure it needs to be grounded or something...so i tried grounding it and cranking....got code 11....

any ideas?
