Updated this post as of 3/10/11. Responses to myself are in bold.

Ok, After much searching and picking up pieces here and there, I figured I would throw out ideas and see what answers I get. None you fool. Ok, I actually got some awesome answers from a lot of people. If you are reading this, THANK YOU!!!!! :bigthumb:
My plan: To build a 1.5jzgte engine. 1jzgte head/manifolds/twins + 2jzge block. Why not T70 single? ... oh wait... what's this in my garage now? :naughty:
Originally I was going to run 2jzge-t, so I have all electronics to run a turbo 3.0L I6.
My ideal would be to run the 1.5jz off the 7m electronics until I get my megasquirt solution up and running. This would allow me to run 440's, AFM, CPS, Coilpack, Ignitor, knock sensors - basically the whole plug and play shebang from the 2jzge-t. - Not possible with the 1jzgte. How naive of me. lol
I have been told the 1jzgte exhaust cam will not fit the 7mgte cps. And I know the 2jz exhaust cam would have to be machined to fit the 1jz head, which in theory would allow me to run the 7mgte cps off the 2jz cam in the 1jz head... Or I'm just nuts. - I'll go with the last explanation here.
Someone has mentioned I can use the Aristo 2jzgte harness/ecu to run the 3.0L 1.5jz and still be able to use the body harness for my mkiii - is this correct? - Yes, I just hadn't found the '2jzgte into an MA70 body' threads/write-ups yet. Of course it's doable, but probably more expensive and annoying in the end vs a Megasquirt setup.
I would even like to make a harness from scratch in order to use fresh wire and connections as well as be able to run different lengths to allow a good wire tuck. - Now there's a good idea finally!
So far, apart from bothering different members for their ideas, I have not found a thread putting this in a better light and I still remain a little.. incomplete in my understanding. Any information would be greatly appreciated in my quest for a worth-while solution. I want to avoid going standalone just yet and would prefer as plug/play as possible without destroying the bank. I have experience with wiring and also have all diagrams ready in case I need to create my own harness. I just need to figure out how to hook up to which ECU to control things relatively smoothly for the initial break-in period. - MS3 is perfectly capable of auto-tuning a nice idle and even a fairly driveable setup with the right sensors and input. Worse comes to worse, I have a local buddy (White Zombie, who got it from another member - all props to this guy for the 1jz map! If I could only remember his forum name though....) with a nice map I can use off the bat for break-in.
**Erased the last bit as it was garbage**
Just to re-cap, I was only able to find all of this through the assistance of those in this thread and others, as well as my own persistent searching and questioning. But damn was it annoying at first. Thanks again to those who assisted me so far, and probably will in the near future as this build is within weeks of being thrown into overdrive and many parts ordered.
