1.5JZ Idle Issues

I'm running a t67, .68a/r 1.5JZ on 440's and an safcII, the car is surging at idle, when I turn the safc fuel setting to 0, it cranks fine, it idles ok, then it goes full rich, then it acts like it cuts fuel out and the car almost dies. Then it starts all over till it finally dies.

try pullng 10% fuel between 0 and 1k rpm, see where that gets you.

Anytime I pull more than -3% it shuts off.

gonna ask the obvious, have you checked and double checked your wiring

are you pulling any codes?

maybe injector drivers if all else checks out? try swapping ecu's, fairly quick/easy to do

TPS properly set? The factory ECU uses it to control the ISCV.

I would check this too for sure.
Also clean out the ISC valve.
Also check for any vacum leaks. make sure you have all ports sealed that are not in use.

no vacuum leaks i used a smoke machine to check.
Tried swapping ecus
swaped map sensor

i took out my SAFC because i tried it in a friends car and made his car run poorly and worked backwards( +fuel = - fuel and vise versa)

Now it idles decent but as soon as i hit the gas it goes full lean a big hiccup then smooths out.

When i pull the line off the map sensor the car runs rich as hell but does not do this.

Any help will be appreciated

That still sounds like TPS. Have you checked it yet?
