The info is on there, because I had to figure out my cr and I used the formula that was posted on that site. The thread was made by cade5150 or something like that.

When I ran the numbers a few months ago (while doing my build), it came out to 10.2ish. I used a 2.0mm HKS MHG, and I ran a compression check that yeilded 176-180psi.

Correct me if I'm wrong on the current C/R Jay.

That seems high Mark, but I wouldn't doubt your mathematical prowess. I would have thought the 2.0 would have brought it down more than that. How much boost do you think we can run on your setup with that high of a compression?

The 10.2 was with a stock GTE gasket, I should have made it more clear. My bad Jay and Boostage. I had my wife look up the numbers on my computer at home. They are: 176, 174, 173, 175, 174, 173, with a 2mm HG.

I think 18psi is safe, and as high as i want to go. Maybe tune to 19.5psi, but set the boost controller and the boost cut at 18psi (max)

Do you remember what your CR is Mark? It was 10.2 with the stock, do you know what it is now? Isn't yours like 9 to 1? When I did mine, it ended up being 8.67 to 1.
18 psi sounds perfect to me. I'll have race gas in it so I can tune it to about 22psi in case of a boost spike, and then we'll set the stinger boost cut to 19.5 for added safety.
