Due to the fact that SF isn't accepting new members and my 1/2 NA-T thread got wiped out by the hacker I am just going to post everything on SM since I have been getting tons of questions about it. I only posted my posts from the thread so the text might not make too much sense. Later.

Another Thing. TUNING make sure your car is tuned properly, thought I had all the bugs worked out but ended up going lean and cracked a piston through the ringlands. Also make sure you do a compression and leakdown test before you start this conversion. If your engine isn't up to snuff(ie low compression, oil leaks, other bad shit) do not do this conversion. Spend the money and rebuild...do it right. BTW make sure you will have a constant flow of cash money because you will need it. Later.

Well it finally got warm enough out in the garage so I could pull off the throttle body and Y-pipe for the intake manifold off and get to the fuel rail and injectors. I will keep updating with pics as I make progress. Here are the pics:

I have spent about 300 for everything and I did a full electronics swap and about 300 more for a full custom 3" turbo back exhaust. You're buying alot of unnessary stuff.

This conversion has already been done, and there is no way in hell you can do it for $300.00. Do you have a MHG w/ARPs? SAFC... Wideband... Good luck lol

Today I took off the oil pressure sender and screwed in the T for my oil feed, I also screwed in the exhaust manifold studs and threw the exhaust manifold on.

Turbo Gaskets and Fan Shroud arrive today. Can't wait...still gotta install the s-afc and wideband. DOh. Also put the intake mani back on after painting it, it looks 100 times better.

Well I finally got the turbo gaskets and fanshroud from Jay Marks/Champion Toyota. They rock. Installed the fanshroud and NGK 2330's gapped at .032. I also cleaned up the cam gears and installed the upper timing cover. I still have a ways to go getting the engine bay to look nice, but every little bit helps, now I need to get the cooked on undercoating off the firewall. Anyone have any suggestions? Rest of my T-bolt clamps come tomorrow. And I need to pick up an ISC gasket and some copper washers for the cold start injector. Other then that I am almost done. Can't wait to start boosting!

Today I am pretty much buttoning up the project, I installed the y-pipe and the throttle body, all I need now is my bov flange welded on my upper IC piping and the bung for my lm-1 wideband welded onto my downpipe. Later.

Got the turbo bolted onto the manifold today, and installed most of my upper IC piping.

EDIT:
The space between the two pipes in my upper pipes is where the pipe with the BOV flange will fit.

Got my ebay special carbon fiber looking dual a-pillar pod today, for the price I couldn't beat it, I will probably heat it up just a bit so it sits flush against the a pillar. There is also a shot of my s-afc installed.

Well I got my Test pipe welded up today, I previously had a Titan Motorsports Test pipe that had flanges that swivel on it. The piping was only 2.5 inches and I wanted 3 inches so I took it to an exhaust shop and asked them to use 3 inch piping, well low and behold they bring out my test pipe welded up and they used 2.5 inch piping and the welds looked like shit...Fuckers, I will probably be ordering the BIC Test Pipe later on, but for now the 2.5 inch one will have to suffice. I also got the lines for my Catch Can installed.

****Note: You cannot have your pcv routed like this read further on in the post to see how it should be.

Well everything has come together nicely, I made a turbo heat shield today compliments of Jong's design:D, also installed my front Cusco strut bar. All I am waiting on now is the pipe with the bov flange welded on.

You are routing your PCV to a catch can and then into the Throttle body?

When you boost.. you are gonna have one hell of a smoke show.

Take the line from the catch can to the TB, remove it, and attach it before the turbo ( turbo intake) and cap off the nipple on the TB.

just saving you headaches.

good luck"

Today I rerouted my lines from my catch can to before the turbo, blocked off the pcv connection to the throttle body, and installed new copper washers on the fuel pulsation damper. For the fitting on my intake arm I used a plumbing fitting that had one barbed end and one threaded end. The threaded end was a little bigger then 3/4" so I started the hole with a punch and then used a 3/4" holesaw to drill it out. The fitting thread right in, and is air tight. Here are some pics.

Got my dp back with the wideband bung welded to it, also got my Ic pipe back with the bov flange welded to it. The aluminum piping was very thin so I was afraid he would burn through it with the tig but it came out very good. I am very impressed with this guys welding.

Dude, this kicks ass. I appreciate it very much! Ive been thinking about just buying a spare head and working it over and adding a mhg the same time. And then working on swapping over the turbo components to the car. When you say stock fpr you do mean the turbo fpr right?

Mods please sticky this!

yeah, I meant the stock FPR, this time around I am going with an Aeromotive AFPR for more control. Later.
