1.0 mm HG

Hi, i'm changing HG on my N/A so i'm thinking about 1.0mm hg to raise my compresion.

So, can you tell me what compression ratio should i expected, and what power gain?

can that way of raising compression do some damage my engine?

If you raise the compression ratio - you should think about running higher octane fuel like 98 RON to minimise the likelyhood of detonation.

stock HG thickness squished = 1.2mm.

there is a TON of stuff you can do to the engine, most importantly being upping compression ratio. shaving the head to up CR isn't the best idea as the combustion chamber gets all wacky then. unfortunately, with the amount of $$ you'll spend on custom headwork and pistons, you could have turbo'd the car and been making 2X the power (not trying to start a war, just giving facts.).

Good thing I had that saved. Gotta save useful stuff like this

high octane fuel isn't problem (95, 98 and 100)

Haha - clip its the same stuff as you get - you just measure it differently...our 95 is your 91, and we get 98/99/101 octane here. Again, all measured in RON, not PON
