08 STi vs. 08 Evo X

+ to Evo on looks. The Imprezza has gone further downhill in the looks department every new generation.

i still dont think many cars newer than 2001ish area look any good, Except a trans am or uh,,,,,thats it?

STi-round and curvy, same reason I don't like the MKIV.
Evo-Aggressive angles and lines, same reason I love the MKIII.
As for driving them, both are a blast to drive, the Evo is a bit more spartan, but in my opinion more of an exciting experience to drive.

No ass on the evo, the rear wheels and then BOOM, you have the bumper, wtf is with the ugly trends in car design?
The STI at LEAST got fender flairs, it wasn't supposed to but the fans all bitched. It's still ugly as hell and looks like a damn hyundai.
Older STi's are nice, olver Evo's are alright (I still see too much Lancer in em).

I prefer the older EVO to this new one, I hate the ass end on it, thats the big problem, the fronts a bit on the lame side IMHO, the newer STI to me looks like the others in general but not quite as good as the 06 style. I've really started to give up on Japan for cars, they ship junk over anymore, the MK4 died with no replacement, the Skyline never came over and the new one we are all hyping over looks like ass, the RX7 died and the RX8 is a joke, and then the NSX is up for death soon as well.
Sad Sad times about the only newer import I'd get would be an EVO 9 or something along the lines of a BMW M3, M5 or 3 series coupe (the newer turbo model e90/92 chassis)
