what do you guys know about 'em? When did the body style switch, 06 or 07?

from what i've read its a pretty inexpensive car, that's pretty good to look at, and drive and quite reliable....

any input?

Altima came with 2.5L and 3.5L. No, it is not quicker then a 350z. They are about the same. All the 3.5L Nissans use the VQ35. The horse power however does change depending on the car. Not to familiar with the body style changes of the altima. But to see the power of the VQ35 with some mods, you can watch this video of my max

ive got a 2.5, what do you want to know?

car has never done me wrong, no major problems.
CK, might not be the fastest, but 450+ miles to a 18g tank works for me and yes, the ebrake is AMAZING.

there were 2 body changes, a slight one in 03 where they changed the front grille and the hood, and the major which happened in 07 models i believe.

basically I just wanna know how people like them, and what their rep is.

I'm considering one for a daily driver, winter car, etc. I need a good gas mileage, RELIABLE car, that once I do my stereo in, I won't have to touch ever again, aside from oil, etc.

I don't want to have to take it into the shop, I don't want to have to worry about going on a 2k mile road trip, I just want a great car.

I dont' give two shits if its fast, or slow, as long as it can get on the freeway :)

I suppose I'd go for the 6, but I'd probably prefer the 4, as I don't care about speed, and do about economy. Supra is going to be great for speed, soon :)

I own a 2004 2.5 and the car is very, very good to me. I been to Canada at least three time and to FL once. Car has about 40k+ and is running good. The gas mileage is one of the best features on this car. Although, I would really like a 2005 SE-R, but oh well.

manny, do what i did, just get the SE-R tails . BTW, they do make turbo kits for the 2.5, and you can adapt the supercharger kits for the 350z to the 3.5 (bracketry and engine management).

Actually I had the SE-R tails on since August 2006, so yea, they add a nice look to the car. Turbo kits huh? Ummm, don't want to harm my realibility. More power is something I need from time to time.
