The difficult part with most of the cheap ones now is the oil drain. Sometime the flange has to be grinded in order for it to fit. That and welding a tight transition on the compressor housing for the intercooler piping.
7m is not reliable. Jz are much more reliable. Haven’t needed tools in my car since I stopped using a 7m.
7m can be properly build and reliable. But it costs too much money and there’s always that what if thought.

2jz is sequential ignition wiring. Coils are all individual and fire indivdually of each other.
If it’s during boost then pull the blue boots off me check for crack. Epoxy over the cracks and head shrink the shaft. Or replace with new.
If your removing the stock oil cooler housing and putting a filter relocation adapter on the block and that goes to a filter and a t stat and a cooler you need to run -10an hose a min. The stock oil cooler will not keep up with the demand with that size hoses.

You can get a earls oil thermostat sand which plate. And then just run 2 lines to a oil cooler. Not sure if it will fit on 7m tjo. If the filter won’t fit you can get filter adapters and relocate if.

ok then you need to go into the coil/inj tab and set what injector pins your using. with batch there would only be 3. sequential you would need to check the boxes for the other 3 and make sure you have the injectors wired to the correct pins.
