so i rasied the nose of the truck.. ran the motor for a good 20mins. saw the bubbles,ran it until i didnt see anymore. took it for a drive and no more temperture going up and down. woohoo... i hope. thanks for the tips and advice guys !!
good idea..not really looking forward to working on my junk its dumping over here. in the last 2hrs we've gotten 3" of snow..man its goin to be cold.
so i let it run w/ the cap off wait for it to burp and see the bubbles and hope all is good correct ?

can i just run the engine on flat ground ? well my drive is somewhat on an incline i'll try the burping again. i've posted on another board and they say my HG went. i really hope it isnt.

fans are on a temp switch. and a switch in the cab. so there always on no matter what unless i do some water crossing. rad shouldn't be plug as its brand new well 5 months ago. where is this jiggle valve off the t.stat ?
so im haveing problems w/ my 7m. i had to change the heater core because it was pooched. so i changed it, now my truck temperture gauge goes up and down. it doesn't stay put it will for abit, then goes back up. i burp the system and change the thermostat. check the oil if i blew the HG, but...

i only use 4.4L of oil..so i dont think i have that much

i only have it in 4low when im wheeling.speedo is stock,the whole tranny is stock (truck tranny w56). the speed against my speedo read 90km/h. my buddy w/ a gps read me at 95km/h. i've got 38x12.5x15 super swamper tsl, its a huge tire.

im looking to put in new bolts on my valve cover. i've searched online, and there is a 10mm socket one i believe, not really sure. anyways. i need to upgrade as i've got an valve cover leak. i hate the stupid phillips screws. so the question is. what have u guys used instead of the stock screws ?
