I just cut the rubber boot surrounding the wiring at the CPS and cut and spliced in new wires, making sure to separate each wire with heatshrink. They were pretty burnt up and cracked, haven't had a problem since.

were you trying Takumi's gutter runs? LOL
and of course a bent upper control arm will drastically effect camber thus wearing the edge of the tires...leading to blowouts
wow are you guys serious...I would venture to say I've done over 500 oil changes since I've started as a mechanic, and I've NEVER come across an oil filter that a pair of these couldn't handle...
just go get one of those long flexible tubes with the little claw on the end. You squeeze down on the plunger on the opposite side of the tube and it opens and closes the claw on the oher end.
Know what I'm talking about?
well I work at Tires Plus so yeah I balanced them and all that jazz, these rims are PERFECT which is why i just couldn't pass em up. I thought that hubcentric rings were just to match the wheel's bore to car's hub? I'll try to figure out the offset tonight, I was in a hurry putting them on so...
ok so I just bought these 17's from a mechanic at work, but they are a little small offset wise...but it was such a good deal that i couldn't pass it up (i.e. 200 bones for all four with brand new tires and tuner lugs included).
Anyways they don't sit out as far as I would like so I'm...
well a buddy of mine has a CT26 which he claims has an upgraded compressor wheel, and since he doesn't have a supra he said I can probably just have it. But I'm concerned that maybe it isn't ACTUALLY upgraded, is there an easy way to check?
I don't want to spend a bunch of time replacing my...
man that's weird I have been dealing with the same problem for the past few weeks, and I also just recently changed my brake pads (didn't replace or turn the rotors) and I used really cheap brake pads. Maybe it'll go away with all new brakes....?
edit: it's odd cuz mine is also on the front...
actually I did have to pull it out in order to tweak the little gears position. Although you technically don't have to pull it all the way out to do this, it is much easier to take off the black plastic cap on the top of it when the CPS is completely removed from the engine.
ok car is back together although it still needs a bit more tweaking I managed to get the timing a bit closer and it's too late to pull the CPS and make the final tweak to it. Thanks all for the help!
