I wired the additional Timing control harness as per the diagram originally provided and now the car just cranks and doesn't start. prior to this, the car started fine and I managed to do some tuning. I log the timing with the monitor feature (not displaying consistently on tunerpro 4.14) and it...
The code is tide to the AFM which is where the intake temp sensor is located. what you are discribing sound like it could be a faulty AFM. If you have access to another one, (borrow one) try swapping it in.
It sounds like the Ground wire that you used not really a ground wire. you may have tapped into a wire that is live once the key is in the on position. Check your ground again.
No problem, do report back your result please. I'd like to know that it worked out ok. Also make sure that your vacuum line are good as they to could cause the boost to spike, if the come off the turbo/control valve. I'm that you understand that this nor any boost controller can control below...
Dave,
thanks for the feedback, when you see the log you will notice the timing sitting around the 30* to 40* mark while cruising and the it drops to the 13* to 15* range while boosting. The AFR goes down to mid to low 10's while at WOT, but again that at ~16psi and with pump gas. Once he puts...
I feel sorry for this poor guy, he has tried to ask us all how to adjust his boost controller, and all he gets is sarcasm and advice about everything but the boost controller.
I'll try and help. First off, do you have the manual? If so, you should have a pretty good understanding of how to...
Hey folks,
Its been a while since I posted about the Maftpro. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that version 4.80 is work pretty smoothly on a car I've been working on. The settings are not too far from the recommended settings that came with the quick startup 4.4, and the biggest change...
King Dave,
Congrats! Its been a long wait. Shoot.... we spoke about this like 2 years ago. It's great to it complete!
Let me know if you need someone to test drive it ;)
Good luck with it and enjoy the hell out it!!
Hey Dave,
As if things haven't been tough enough these past few years.... I'm sorry about your loss brother. Feel free to give me a call whenever you need to talk. I'm up all night (working) so feel free to call at night if you need to. I will look for your phone number to reach out to you. My...
Somehow all of those people that are complaining about FALSE newsflashes regarding a new Supra, ARE THE SAME PEOPLE THAT ALWAYS FILL THESE THREADS WITH THEIR SAME LAME WINING. If it annoys you all that much, just don't bother reading it! Most of all, don't clutter these pages with your wining or...
From what I've seen on most dyno charts for MKIII's with aftermarket turbos, the peak torque is somewhere between 4800rpm and 5200rpm. This was observed on several cars running 61mm to 67mm wheels and pushing between 17psi to 24psi. so with that info and any other dyno info you might have for...
Great job! sounds like you're getting the hang of the Maftpro, BTW, that 508whp through the auto should put you at 635bhp based on the potential 20% loss. So um....go hunt down some Z06's would ya ;)
Any chance that you forgot to upload the current bin in the maftpro to the tunerpro? from looking at the screen shot above, it looks like the bin file is for maftpro version 4.60 and I believe that you said you were using 4.65 now..
Hey Qwik, Nice Numbers homie!
Bring that dyno chart by so we can disect it welly well style! let me now what your hp was at 5100 rpm (where your car seems to be peaking in torque based on previous dynos) and I'll do the math to see what you torque was on that 22psi run.
