To revive this dead thread..
I bought a psr 6466, and machined the exhaust housing of the cx racing a slight bit to make it fit.
I’m going to test this out, and I suspect that cx racing unit is actually much better than I though previously if it’s a 67mm. I just thing the majority that buy...
When I did my 2jz harness I used 18 for everything power was 16 and splice grounds where 16.
I understand sensors can be 20-22 seeing all the aftermarket harnesses.
Sensors draw like nothing, it’s the injectors and coils that have big draws.
You know the aero on that turbo mayst be the problem thinking to my gt3584rs it’s a 67/84 inducer and exducer. The exhaust wheel is different though. I’m betting due to the lag that the exhaust wheel is the standard ptrim for 25 years ago. I wish they would refresh this turbo with good billet...
I think the resistors are off for a JZ swap tach. My tach was never quite on par with what the logs said. Always off by a few hundred RPM. I just don't think anyone has ever really said anything, and it's off as you go up in RPM at idle, the difference is minimal. BTW the tach jumping around is...
Hi 3P, I'm curious, why not implement some scaling if you cannot bypass this number? Or defeating the stock fuel cut, and adding something else to to provide a cut later.
'make sure you bring some good flexfit hats, I want some new A70 ones, the one I got from the club a70 got so sweaty that it's all sweat-stained and looks nasty,
the plastic mesh one is getting the same.. I sweat too much and the colors of the hats don't like it. lol
I'm sure there has to be similar sensors in the late 80's 90's camrys and stuff, they are just VR sensors. They must fit, I doubt toyota mad a shit load of sensors for one specific car.
Albert is great, but it's more spendy than DM. The Dm upgrade is an old school shop called performance techniques they used to do the upgrades for 450$

This is their website. They will deal direct I think which is a little cheaper.
Honestly, I think the best thing you can do is buy this turbo for the housing, and then put a PT Ptrim turbo in there like a PT 61 and just use the back housing you'll have a better spool and make the same power. The wheels on this turbo are so junk. Super laggy...
Nice Figgie, but why not go ZF8HP. For how fast that shifts and how reliable and having NOT to deal with clutches.. It's amazing. That's what I want to do.
