Thanks again for the part number. I'm really going to be po'd at this parts guy if I can find these too. Maybe when he said they weren't available any more, he meant he didn't have any in stock. Anyway, I'll have to call a couple more dealers this week.

I searched the archives for an answer and couldn't find one to this question. I was at the junkyard the other day and was looking at some MKIIs and noticed that the headlight doors looked exactly like those on a MKIII. Are the headlight doors on a MKII the same as on a MKIII? bruce

Thanks for the responses. If I can't find some at a dealer, I'll have to make my own. However, from what I've heard here, I should be able to find them. Yeah, it's the thin, narrow rubber gasket that sits between the fender and the inner fender in the engine compartment where they bolt...

Thanks for the part numbers. I'm beginning to think the parts guy didn't want to go throught the trouble of actually finding them on his computer. I had him check for side moulding and front fender gaskets also (neither of those was available either). I'll check another dealer tomorrow...
