Bump, Is it the Coil? Looks like there are 3. How do you tell which one or if they are all shot. Or is there something else that will stop the spark from getting to the plug?
I took out the spark plug from the rear of the engine, closest to the windshield, and put the plug in the wire and held it while someone turn the car over and I didnt see any spark. Would this mean the coil is bad? Is there anything else I should be looking for? ****EDIT*** Its an automatic with...
happened to me once where the flywheel bolts came loose making an awful bottom end clunking sound. I thought my motor was toast. it was on an 86 camaro. good luck
sometimes it starts and runs fine other times it wont start at all. I jumped the diagnostic port with a paper clip and the fuel pump is turning on, I can also hear fuel up at the rail when i do that. I just took out the spark plugs and checked them and rubbed the tips with sandpaper to clean...

i havent started on my 7mgte yet, i need to find some good prices on parts somewhere first. first time i drove it ever, 110 mph like nothing, with 170,00 and a leak on the turbo, i was impressed
I havent checked the timing yet but I read somewhere that the little plug helps control spark advance. If that is the case, it might be my whole problem. I know a timing light is a good tool to have in the garage but I dont have one yet so I am going to fix that connector up first and see what...

I cant seem to find that connector when I search (online)...
