Depending on the age of the gasket and if it reseals is what I would be worried about. If money is not scarce I would order those gaskets you need, or just buy an entire engine gasket kit. They're getting fewer and fewer and I am sure one day you will need some, and also people in the Supra or...
Makes sense. A lot of times when a car does not have boost and all of a sudden did it is always good to look at the turbo(s) condition.Just recently went over to someones home to diagnose a Subaru Legacy GT. A new Inter cooler was put on and they tested it and had zero boost. Pulled the down...
I am not sure, I mean has anyone ever tested these? You can check the OMH's and see if they develop the same resistance so you know for sure. I don't like guessing, since this sensor could be used in the car for the gauge or the computer it is good to know.
If you hook the 6-speed harness into the car ( Via body plugs ) just like any other harness, you can then get AEM's jumper harness or... you can just get the 2JZ AEM ECU and it will plug right in.
Most of the younger generation don't understand the Toyota Supra. When these cars came out they were well built, expensive, and sucked gas. It was a sports car though. Made for the weekends, maybe a trip to the mall, or a night out of town. Being a GT car, it was made for comfort. Now 20 + years...
This was unfortunate and not planned. Sorry for your loss : [ The good news is your okay. These cars are great in collisions. I built a 1JZ for a guy 30 days later he got rear eneded at 65. He lived, really had zero issues, the car though was a little crunched in the back. Hope to see a new...
Hi fellow Supramanian's. I honestly forgot if I ever posted a thread for the Early '89 M/T wiring, and the '88 M/T pin outs. If I posted these no one has looked through them much. I have a inbox full of wiring questions, so I felt this thread would help everyone out a little...
Uh? How old are you? I remember when I was 16. RX-8's are not made for speed, along with the S2000's. There good handling cars, The Supra can't do what those cars can, and vice versa. I hate posts like this.
I was going to say this as well. Ill get some pic's first. Also iv had some 7M's that when the rod bearing went it hit the head, but never the spark plug.
I try to get the 7M electronics back on.. or find a TPS that will work for these specs. Making a sort of Frankenstein parts build on this may not be the optimal way to go right now..
Good call I see that. Not chaser though I am sure, those are annoying to wire up because most import companies keep the dash harness plugs from the ECU in the car.
Many after market ECU's use high impedance. If you were to use 550's without a resistor box you would not get to far.
Just looked micro tech uses high impedance.
