So basically just wait for the machine shop to tell me what pistons to buy. That's cool. As you can tell this is the first time I'm having any of this stuff done. I guess I should wait to find out what size headgasket to get too then?

What size pistons do you guys think I should get? I've been talking to a shop and they said they don't like to bore the engine out much at all. I'm planning on around 500whp so would .20 over be ok?

Heck yeah, it may be a year or two. You can check on the progress as I go though. I could always use an extra hand and brain.

I am currently planning on swapping in the 7m-gte into my 87 n/a. If I do this, I want to buy the right parts first. I think I'm going to buy the MAP ECU. This means I can run without the AFM right? Do I still use the accordian hose?

Any clue to my question of finding a good engine builders? P.S. I'd be going with a single turbo setup so there would be no firewall mods necessary. The cost of 2jz swap is really not that bad if you actually look into it. Well from my stand point it's not that expensive, I don't know...

My main decision is between the 7M-GTE swap and the 2J-GTE swap. I really do like the fact that the 7M-GTE swap is a lot cheaper and easier. However I definitely would like to get the engine rebuilt professionally if I decide to go this route. I'm on the east coast, does anyone know of...
