I had the same thing, IJ told me to do this and it was my diff...jack up the back and put on your e-brake and tranny in neutral, then try and turn the driveshaft, if it moves excessively then your lash is coming from the diff.
While it's up there try putting the tranny in gear and e-brake off...
Where does it say your production number and that stuff? I'm curious about mine, but the JZA70 VIN is different, the VIN looks like it is a production number or something..
I have no idea how big the stock one is for a jza70 though, when I bought my car it didn't have a reservoir there at all for some reason lol, I just went and grabbed one out of a Prelude at a junkyard today, it's really thin and fit behind the intercooler with not too much of a problem
Does anybody know what the volume for the 1JZ reservoir is supposed to be? Mine is missing so I just want to make something else up to replace it, I just need to know how big to make it.
