I have an 86.5 My brake lights went out, and after changing the failure box and cleaning the end of the bulbs, the brake lights are now working.. except now the drivers side brake light is always on when the lights are on. When I brake, they stay on. Both bulbs on the passenger side works...

think ill just do this.. i did the diff the other night.. just a hose and duct tape.. = home made pump.. worked great.

heres a noob question.. i tried taking the shifter out to do this... but didnt see how to take the shift boot off without taking the whole panel out? but ive seen pictures where people just had the boot out, and the actual shifter comes straight out from there. what am i not seeing? also...

what other flanges if any will work with this bov? (hks, etc) i was told you could even run this on the stock rubber tubing, but i didnt see anything on their website.. any ideas/recommendations to get this installed?

its a manual.. its an 86.5 7mge with the turbo/electronics from a 7mgte when i got the car he said something that was changed in the tranny, or the tranny itself.. i forget :( i was going to do my fluids/oil today and wanted to make i put the right amount in.. is there anything as far #'s go...

How do I tell what type of transmission I have? I don't think it's the one that came stock on the car.
