I have an 89 turbo (7MGTE)that is bone stock.The problem is that it is really hard to start,and when it does finally start it idles fine but will miss and hesitate as it starts to build boost.I have to run a jumper wire on the diag.box for the fuel pump to constently run or else it won't idle or...

I have an A340E auto. out of my 89 turbo. It had all the gears except reverse,but was told it was the valve body. You could feel it jump into rev. but would not move without reving up to 3500. If you or anyone needs a spare i will sell or consider trades for something useful

I just found out that the knock sensor for a 1993 Camry V6 is the same part number thru NAPA auto parts. I called around to some local junk yards and found one for fifteen dollars,so I got all 3 they had.

I just did a tranmission swap in my 89 turbo that was shot. Now everything is back together and there is a loud tapping noise coming the trans.when the car is at idle.Is there a chance the converter slipped forward during installing? The converter also fit loose no matter how i tried to put in in.
