abe, you dont have to find the whole housing. see if yo can just find the foam element. the filter comes out of the housing. only the foam needs to be replaced. hks filters flow the best. but dont filter the best

hey guys well i was driven around tonight. and when i boosted my car cut out and started stutering and i cant boost past 8psi. but when i ease into the gas no problems, and the gauge goes up fine. what do you think?

fuel cut on 1jz is 14 lbs? then thats probably all ill need for now

sup guys. well i just installed a boost controller on the 1j today. i read a few threads saying it was a pain in the ass. and once i looked at it i was ready for a battle with this thing. :biglaugh: but it actaull y wasnt to hard to do, i did some custom tool creating and it went pretty smooth...

your not too detailed with your descrition of the problem. but id make sure you dont have a boost leak somewhere

or he could have an exhaust leak between the manifold/ turbo, or turbo/ downpipe. letting alot of exhaust straight out to your engine bay. that would make sense considering its getting hot enough to melt your harness. damn thats hot :icon_evil

thats what i did with my old setup. coated, then wraped, then coated again. worked well like that.
