I did that once in the supra.. Drove to Sac and back (120 miles each way), I opened the hood when I got home and saw see what an idiot I am.

Agreed. Machining the wheel is crazy sketchy. I mean.. 5 bolts holding up the car in such a small spot.. I wouldn't want to weaken that at all. It is not like it is hard to find a 10" wheel that can fit with a 275.

10 +20 is easy to fit under the fender. The 275 tire is the issue.

Could have put this in the sticky.. any ways... depending on the wheel you can take some material away. Personally I wouldn't do it though.. and for fitting a 10" and a 275 you need a +35 or more offset

Oh yeah. almost every toyota steering wheel will bolt right up. Wiring is the issue.

I remember seeing a write up for this but it is basically plug and play. The air bag wont work, and you will have to mod the 4 pin connector for the horn and cruise control that the 92 wheel has because it is only 3 pins on the pre 89 wheel. I think all that was needed to be done was cutting one...
