Because it's the only thing I could find local in the sizes I needed:-(. After it's done I think it will work well as i have blue silicone hoses and plan on running red couplers....my engine bay will look so American lol.

Too the op....an oil leak won't change oil pressures unless the leak is so massive that it pumps all your oil out in a matter of seconds....odds are you have bad valve seals.
