I have not cranked my engine yet but i like the idea that ross has longer skirts and i think that will make for a better fit in the cylinder than the short skirt JEs. Ross's are very top quality. I dontthink that they need as much clearance as ross suggests tho of about 6 thousands.

If there are any heat spots on the flywheel it must be machined or you are wasting time. Also Bigaaron is correct sometimes you need to adjust to make sure it is engaging correctly. Some people it doesnot disengage correctly and others not enough.
