Not to answer for Bishop but those look like the front end links he built. The rear end links are plastic i believe because if they were metal the metal tabs on the lower bar would bend and snap off causing you to buy a higher priced part to replace instead of the cheaper plastic end links...

the spark plug pack on top of the engine is grounded to the intake on the right side. For the ignitor when it is on the little stand it also needs good connections to it and the stand needs good connections to the chasis. The bolts involved is what grounds the ignitor to the vehicle.

The ignitor is grounded thru the stand it sits on. You did check the afm connector? Check the ground to the power packs.
