Yeah. I think when my dad bought the car it was still fine but he ended up taking it to a shop to be taken care of and reinforced just in case.. I think it cost $600 in the end.
It all depends on your height and alignment. At a moderate height the wheel will be flush with the fender.

Depending on what kind of look you want you go with a different set up. For a easy set up I would go 18x9 +30 all around with what ever tire size you want. If you want you can do a 18x9.5+ 23 in the rear but you can only fit a 245 or maybe 255 with a flat roll in the rear. +15 can work too but...
