Yeah. I think when my dad bought the car it was still fine but he ended up taking it to a shop to be taken care of and reinforced just in case.. I think it cost $600 in the end.

It all depends on your height and alignment. At a moderate height the wheel will be flush with the fender. Sounds good. Lower offset pushes the wheel out more. That set up can work but you will need to roll and probably need to run a skinny tire in back like a 245 or smaller.

oh 9.5 in the rear now.. you can go up to a 275/35/18 with probably no issues. Might have a slight rub on hard dips but I think it will clear.

Depending on what kind of look you want you go with a different set up. For a easy set up I would go 18x9 +30 all around with what ever tire size you want. If you want you can do a 18x9.5+ 23 in the rear but you can only fit a 245 or maybe 255 with a flat roll in the rear. +15 can work too but...
