Try a TRD knob, they feel great, look OEM (ish), and are made for our cars..
I broke the plastic threads off a Razo shift knob in my 89 by tighening the screw too much. Otherwise, never had an issue with it..
There's a red pre-89 on these boards that did it, along with a 3 hole bomex lip, looks quite mean..
I'm for the opposite though; I have pre-89 euro signals on my 92..:D
I'd like to DD them, but they decide whether or not they want to cooperate..
But I drive the 92 the most when I can, my buddy is almost done with my 2JZ swap, can't wait!
I got asked twice last week if I wanted to sell it and "Supras are bad ass!" "A guy had one at the street races and killed everyone" when driving my wife's 86.5. I get more attention in it than my 89 and 92..:(
The freer it can breathe, the better. I have an intake, 2.5 inch IC piping with upgraded spearco replica IC, 3 inch recirculated divorced down pipe, full 3 inch exhaust with a 3 inch test pipe instead of a cat. I hit boost nearly instantly and I love it. I'm still on an NA fuel pump however so...
If you have the proper mods, your boost will go up on its own. Mine is at 12 with no boost controller, but I hit fuel cut. Don't use boost controllers or anything like that and you'll be fine
The interior is worth more than the car itself. I'd drop all my mods in the 92 and pimp that out. There were only 1193 made, so you're rolling in a rare car if so...
Lol @ stock intercooler with upgraded turbo. You obviously have very little understanding of how a turbo works. No, don't do any of that. Do it right or don't do it.
just busting your balls, dude..
