Haha i know right?... Yeah when i put the motor in i was just gunna go with the BIC exhaust from the oem y-pipe back... Then when it came down to actually ordering the exhasut i decided just to go with the aftermarket y-pipe and downpipe with a BIC test pipe and then the RSR GT2 catback... so...

The twins are bein a real bitch to get out.. I had to bang the firewall back a little to get enough clearence to get em out.. as you can see its a very tight squeeze.. And they are out!..

Some more parts showed up.. New radiator hoses, fan, fan clutch, igniter, map sensor, and slave cylinder all from the great guys at driftmotion..

Started taking off the twins for new y-pipe.. Wee bit of oil in the intake from pcv.. someone needs a catch can..

New y-pipe and downpipe.. Wrapped them in a little thermo wrap..

New mechanical fan clutch waterpump and thermostat... New K2 motor 320mm steering wheel and momo hub adapter.. Steering wheel and hub adapter installed.. New ps,wp,and alternator pulleys and shorter serpentine belt from driftmotion..

Connecting a couple 1jz connectors to the ma70 fusebox.. New cxracing intercooler.. its 31"-12"-4" with 3" piping.. maybe a little too big? Connecting 1jz ecu with oem ma70 harness.. New ss braided ps line via driftmotion...

So a 1jz, ecu, and r154 showed up on my doorstep.. Yay... Hmm empty engine bay and a 1jz on a crate..:love: (Before dropin the 1j in i changed out the front and rear main seals, some new semi solid motor mounts,new oem timing belt, new spark plugs, new friction plate cus the old one was...

took off dash to get at heater components.. some pics of how dirty the engine bay and rack was.. cleaned up the engine bay and started painting it black..

pulled the shifter out so i can slide tranny and engine out together.. taking out the heater core and accessories behind the dash.. and the 7m and tranny are out..

turbo and mani are removed... you can also see how bad the oil leakage was... im removing the ac system.. so out goes the compressor.. and condensor...

(everything was covered in oil and grime) Cruise Control was a great invention.. but no need to cruise in a drift car.. Just a LITTLE oil was going into those intake runners haha:icon_surp

Next step was i decided on going 1jz instead of keeping the 7m for reliability reasons... So i ordered and engine with the tranny and ecu and started strippin the 7m to pull it out... (And YES there was garden hoses and duct tape used on my engine... Some great mechanic that i bought it...

So the first thing i did after i parked it was tear out the trashed carpet.. suprisingly the rest of the interior was in decent condition... (Kept the backseats out along with the carpet but everything else went back in for now)
