that may be the case in canada, i have no clue. i know there are cars with daytime running lights but i don't think they started that until the mid 90"s. it seems that your supra had the fog light rewire done to it.

why wouldn't you just put the tranny in neutral while towing with the drivable set of wheels on the ground?

they all have a separate fog light switch, in stock form, you can turn them off while the headlights are on, but you can not turn the fogs on without the headlights being on. the rewire allows you to turn on the fogs with no headlights involved.
