Sac is dead....I might have to register to the cencal site. It would be cool to meet up with some local guys, plus when one guy needs a hand or has questions about our cars it would be easier to chill and help each other out.
So the isc could be vented....? I was wondering that myself, I...
Ummmm....In my opinion I would not go with the cheapest stuff I can find and then throw it on to my car. Especially a clutch. Unless you like taking off the tranny as a hobby or recreational activity, I would go with something decent (not all out but decent). Also watch out with XTD clutches...
Im about to go MaftPro soon, gonna get rid of my Safc....what electrical connections and vaccuum lines can I get rid of??? (i.e. Lex afm, accordian hose, hoses to ISVC, BVSV....?) input and pics would be great, just trying to clean up any unneccessar connections.
^^ agreed. #4 looks terrible....Out of all the wheels #5 is okay, although IMO i would just roll on the stock wheels for now save your $$$ for some deep dish/ staggered wheels. Another $500 and you can get some really nice new wheels.
I've had all those issues before also, my advice is stop forcing the boost, fix all the codes (make sure it runs correctly first), then find your boost leaks (i am confident these are boost leak issues).
They dont sit on the head....they are on the IM (intake manifold). To solve your problems take off fuel rail and change out o-rings and insulators. You might have pinched or squeezed the rubber rings or insulator too much or unevenly, thus leaking.
^^ IJ, is correct my car sits for days on end and condensation mixed with the oil cap does have milkshake residue...I would not rely on this method for a confirmation of a BHG. Do what the other guys are recommending.
After a long weekend finally finished mounting the IC and Hardpipes...What do you guys think, let me know I tried to eliminate as many hard bends in the piping as much as possible. All in all, I thought it turned out pretty clean. Intercooler is an CX racing 31x24x3 with 2.5" piping.
^^^ HMMM! Interesting statement! Antioch is pretty close to Stockton, I know for sure there are hot rod shops in Stockton, Fairfield, and Vacaville that will have race gase, E85, and 91 Octane gas.
You dont have to just get them from supras.....I grabbed some from picknpull from a couple of cressidas, Im thinking even camrys, and toyota trucks were all the same.
