We have had good experiences with a HKS mhg. Greddy is almost exactly the same thing.
Never tried Cometic because of the rivets and their lame "made to order" wait times. If they really are all "made to order", why not make them without the rivets, or even better, move the rivets so they...
I'll let you know when it's done :biglaugh:
The most expensive part will be the rods. Once I get those made I could sell the rods and modified 5m crank as a destroke kit for 7m, and it will work with whatever size 7m piston you want to go with.
Good question.
The 7m is like a challenge for me, a hobby. It's not my daily driver anymore.
I have a lot of money into all the accessories that go with the 7m already. We build a lot of 7m engines and I want to show what we can do with them. I still have some connection with the 7m, it's...
The 7m crank is 91mm stroke. The 5m crank is 85mm stroke. After seeing the inside of a lot of 7m engines, and noting the cylinder wall wear specifically on the sides , plus considering some of the higher hp 7m failures are rods bending, it made me think that the extra long stroke is a problem...
I think the rear suspension would need some serious modification to go faster then 9s.
If you want to go that fast do yourself a favor and buy a Nova or something.
I eat Chinese food, Mexican food, ham/turkey sandwiches from Togo's, Thai food, Hawaiian pizza, Quizno's traditional sandwiches, Mongolian BBQ.
Plus the normal burgers and hot dogs and stuff.
60-1 is too big for a ct26 housing if you want reliability. 57 trim seems to be the best for power and longevity. You can make around 375whp max with a 50 trim, and the spool is pretty fast. 57 trim spools almost the same and can make around 400whp, maybe a little more. All the threads from a...
Dan's Cressida made 350whp/360tq at 14psi with the original Maft (draw-thru, 3" gm maf in the accordian pipe where the stock afm was), and my 7m made 370whp and 395tq with one too. The only drawback is that it's not boost or throttle referenced (it only knows when to go from low to mid to high...
