I have an old oil pump I could send too. The 1jz pickup is about 3" wide and it's flat on the bottom, the 7m pickup is a little pipe with a screen over it.
Total shipped from Summit to me is $119.78

I think the 7m oil pickup is as much of a problem as the pan, a 1jz/2jz style pickup to go with the pan would be very nice. I might be interested myself for my destroked 7m project. There are too many rod knocked 7m's out there for us not to have an oilpan/pickup upgrade option, I say go for it...
We remanufacture 1jz ps pumps, I have one available if you don't have a core. It's $130 if you ship us your core, or $170 including the core charge.
We'll give you a 1 year warranty on it too.
I thought I would have to sell my project vehicles when we bought the house, but then I realized they really didn't cost me that much money unless I was modding them constantly. Once you get the house I guarantee you will be looking for another Supra as soon as you are all settled in :icon_wink
I think the Tial comes with the wrong spring installed for our engines, because I have never heard my Tial copy bov flutter even once, yet it opens even at 0 psi. I have been in several cars with the real Tial and there was deffinately a fluttering problem with the bov. If you get a 1/4" vacuum...
The engine was already installed. We are troubleshooting some installation issues, installing the turbo kit Mark got from MDC Motorsports, e-manage, wideband, PJ painted it, and last we're tuning it on the dyno.
Ok, here's where it's at now:
First the good:
Twins are gone!
While I was removing the turbos
Now the bad:
Brand new Spec clutch disk is warped :icon_conf
If you've installed a rear main seal on a 1jz before, you should be able to look at this pic and see why it was...
I had my 88 4runner done at Earl Scheib, and after several years the paint still shined like new. The only complaint I has was they didn't sand off the old stock paint stripes well and in the right light from an angle you could see the outlines of the stripes in the paint. Otherwise it was well...
I don't think $120 is going to cover it. There is a $8 (or $9?) s/h fee from Summit, plus they might charge me tax depending on where it ships from, plus the shipping to New Zealand is not going to be $5. I'll send you a total after I call Summit tomorrow.
I know Earl Scheib uses a good quality paint that they manufacture. Macco doesn't have as good of a quality paint but they seem to do a little better prep work. For $200 I would not expect much. You want to get a clear coat and have it color sanded, but the color sanding they don't all do...
