True. I wish that some of the good coilover manufacturers would revalve the billies, but really, none do! :( I have seen many threads about sending Koni's in for warranty. :(

Not in the BMW world. Bilstein never quite got the valving correct, and as such, they ride very harsh. Check out any BMW forum- everyone hates the Billies, and raves about the Koni's.
There's a reason that GC, TCKline, etc.. all use Koni for their coilover setups! :)
Yesterday, I was listening to a lot of Killswitch Engage. When I work on cars, it's usually some sort of hardcore or punk that I listen to. My neighbors didn't appreciate it.
The driveshaft, no- it will not work with the r154 transmission (assuming your other car isn't turboswapped, and still using the w58) The rear driveshafts are all the same, front ones differ.
Pulling the diff isn't hard, I would say it's worth the time. 4.3LSD in turbo car is fun. ;)
