Okay what it comes down to is.
The Gear on the shaft that drives speedometer gear is a different size on the R154 is a different size from the W58 one.
R154 has 3 options, minus the other R series options. ; 32:10, 33:11, and 33:10
and
W58 has only one. 35:10
I think you need to change the...
W58 with 4.30 is 35:10
R154 with 3.9 is 32:10
I'd personally install the 35:10 from the W58 into the R154.
The sleaves are the same.
But whats really confusing is the 4.10 1JZ gear having a 33:10. :dunno:
It would do better just make sure it's made out of stainless, and use an allen wrench.
Steel doesn't play well in alluminum. :(

The head has a casting number on the intake side.
Higher the number newer the casting.
And the head difference happened in 89 or 90.
But there have been 15or16 Known Revisions.
