those two black cut wires that go into the harness area under the fuse box, go directly to the alternator power wire from the jz engine. those wires used to go to the 7m alternator. just use a butt connector that you can get from sears hardware, it will have 2 set screws and it will be a brass...
That wire used to connect to the 7m alternator power. You can use a butt connector to connect a new power wire from your jz alternator to those 2 smaller power wires. Thats it for your charging power wires. You will also need to connect the 3 wires from the round plug in the alternator on the jz...
I love both styles, but then again it does come down to personal taste.
Flush mounts offer more options over pop ups for a few reasons..they are lighter in weight, add functionality for HID projectors, more aerodynamic for night, ect.
just did some searching and found out these guys might carry the sensor.

give em a call see if they have the 3bar map sensor for the pfc.
another option I hear was to use a msd map sensor...but not 100% sure.
yes I know theres two plugs, one for the boost controller, and one for the map sensor. Have you tried contacting any apexi vendors for the map sensor? If you can find it, you will love the pfc even more.
Its been a while since I've used it, but if your boost control kit came with a map sensor, it should all be PnP with the pfc. If not, I believe you can use your stock map sensor, but I don't remember if it was able to plug into the pfc. If you do have the pcf map sensor and you are having...
ive been looking into it and it seems the map ecu 2 is the best engine management for the price for the 1j. it does everything you need it to do and then some. I cant wait to get mine and try it out!
I just put a set of purple top "550s" in my 1j...wired up the resistor box correctly and everything, yet the engine has a miss..but is running a lot richer than my 440s that were in there. I will be sending my purple tops out to RC to be cleaned and flow tested on monday. I will post resluts asap.
its ur boost controller bro...what kind are u using? im having a similar problem with mine and i have a hks electronic...i know for a fact its the bc cause i fucked with it one day and it only boosted to 10psi then started breaking up badly...i turned down the boost and it boosted to 17psi! it...
