    Mental Health

My guess is it's something simple. I had pains similar to what you described and had no idea what they were... just went about my merry way, dealt with the pain when it came, and did nothing for it. You pretty much answered whats going on... gritting your teeth, pain behind your ear... it...

    Thinking of buying some tools.

^ life will never be the same once you get them... It is honestly one of the few 'how the hell did people get by w/o these?' things that come to mind when I'm working on cars. I prefer the ones w/ the adjustable heads. And since you are a Supra owner, may want to invest in a set of...

    Thinking of buying some tools.

yeah. I took like 4 19mm sockets in and walked out with 4 new ones... I've never heard of them dropping the warranty. I think Craftsman is good enough, maybe invest in a set of Snap-On impact sockets, so you can get the hard bolts off w/o breaking all your sockets, as 'damn it... do we have...

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

^ You should assume it exists until proven otherwise... They are supras after all.

    Whodathunkit!? (Another Repair Blunders Thread)

^ lol, can I use that line? I got a case of bad gas once in a Supra... Best $30 I ever spent. I got money to tow the car home, money for a fuel pump (walbro), and like $100 worth of labor money... I drained the gas tank, filled it up w/ new gas and it's still running that way today...

any one really miss their first car?

84 supra... No, don't miss it... it was just a celica afterall. Plus, I sold it when I finished my 82, so I could have cared less.

Indiana Supra Meet - May 10, 2008! (Merging with WWIV)

Find an old rusted out RK Turbo car of the same year and swap it over... it will be cheaper and easier since it will have all the parts on it anyway. I bought the turbo car I got the swap from for like $200. Or find a running turbo car and swap it over into your NA car so your insurance wont...

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

lol, I removed my AC for this reason... plus I spent $200 trying to get it to work w/ no luck. I'm sure Tanya is smart enough to know what can go and what can't, or really shouldn't be anyway. I don't see her pulling her bumper supports or anything like that anyway.

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

^ lol, atleast I've driven my Supra? and it was running when I bought all the crapp for it when I started it and it hit the tool box? I've got two lines where the bumper hit and paint is missing, wooooo. I'm not hiding the fact that it happened to begin w/, and WTF does it have to do w/...

Why dont the people at autozone, pepboys, strauss, etc HAVE NO Clue when it comes 2 cars

Thats not really how the line would be used.... I'd say 'why do you need one?' then they say 'yeah' THEN, and ONLY THEN could one say 'not my problem'

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

You're 70 lbs lighter but have no creature comforts whatsoever... That's kinda reaching for... what... 0.1? But, w/e, keep doin what you do Tanya. :icon_bigg Atleast I don't see a HUGE pile of rust from someone beating on a rear 1/4 of a mkII. :biglaugh:

sean210, you seemed like a nice guy. LMK when you plan on starting the swap, I'll help out if you don't plan on cutting corners. :icon_bigg My advice to you on the swap... do a full na->T swap, all the electronics and stuff from a turbo car. If you go this route there's no second...

Indiana Supra Meet - May 10, 2008! (Merging with WWIV)

Seriously man, unless you want to throw money away, go turbo. There's just no hope in making NA power. I think the dyno was off when I dyno'd after the mods, because it felt sooooo much faster (maybe it was just louder) than it did before the mods. But spending the $1500+ I did on mods got me...

Indiana Supra Meet - May 10, 2008! (Merging with WWIV)

Great times were had.... although 0 mkIIs showed up, epic fail on that Jeff, but you pulled off in 1 attempt what I tried 5 times to do. Double digit Supras in Indiana. Gratz. Nice meeting/seeing everyone again. next year I may even have a Supra at the meet... Pending spousal...
