Back in 1973 I was an auto mechanic working at a local Oldsmobile dealership in Rochester, New York. One day I got a repair job on a used first-generation Camaro we had recently sold. The customer was complaining about a large leak that had been filling up his trunk with water. I discovered...
Wheres it leaking from?
PM Me for MK3Runners number. He's the only person i'd trust to do work on my Car.
He does mobile service. :)
Personally all the local supra shops have proven themselves to be monkeys who know enough to be dangerous and get paid to do it at the rate of 75 an hour...

This if for the 90. But if you search theres a 87 one floating around. :)
Take a Mechanics Stetescope and put it over the cam covers.
If it's ticking there it's fine but i wondn't leave it ticky for various reasons.
But i'd check clearences. Too tight can burn valves and back firing. :(
When i change plugs i perform a complete vehicle check.
