Yup. A properly prepped and torque'd stocker will last a long time unless you want a lot of power. At least 72 ft/lb;).

1G-GTE is 2.0 Liter twin turbo. IIRC it doesn't make as much power as a 7M-GTE. But good luck and that engine was never sold in the US.

Just thought about my mistake. I meant for the head surface to be straight or flat as Jdub stated.

^Do what he say's or prepare for a whole lotta hurt. If you don't want to spend all that money use a stock one but get the head checked for smoothness just in case. Also torque down to 72 ft/lb of torque;).

Oh well... Back to FML.
