It might be the aftermarket amp you put in... amps normally have a "p-con" or similar you can connect to your power antenna raiser to turn on with the car, and off with the car. some people I've seen just run 12v across this connector so the amp is always on, this obviously isn't good

I would just keep taking it apart carefully until it is down to turning the numbers, or you can figure out how to attach a drill or find a garage that will do it, not a midas/autozone type but the random car garage owned by a mechanic...

after running the car really hard, take the radiator cap off if you wanna see a geyser! that's not a symptom of BHG, and the radiator cap should not be removed unless the car is cool
