hey guys i have a hks mhg im gonna be installing tomorrow(and yes the head and block were resurfaced:icon_bigg) any way sorry if this is a stupid question but do you gotta drill out the rivets out of the mhg??? any help is appreciated
take off timing belt, valve covers, cams,valve caps, valve springs and there you are, gotta have the right tools also.*********note make sure the piston is at tdc on the valves that your taking the springs off on!! or you drop a valve into the cylinder!...ouch=take off head time

hey if you measure the stock head gasket after it has been pressed its actually a lot thinner the the 1.2mm hks, keep that in mind, and ya its better to resurface both head and block when going with a mhg, found that out the hard way:cry:now i got my head resurfaced and will get my block...

hey guys i have a blown head gasket (89 7mgte) due to a warped alumminum head (was overheated before) anyway a buddy of mine have a head from and 87 7mgte that has very little wear in the cam seats(mine has a lot) and was not overheated, im thinking if the head fits i would buy his get it...
