a feasiable jim Crower inspired idea

actually, the way I was seeing it was 1 intake 2 compression 3 power 4 exhaust 5 intake 6 compression 7 steam power 8 exhaust it would still operate like a 4 stroke, except that with a flip-flop relay, it would be able to toggle from fuel injector to water injector so you'd fire...

anyone with a mkiv jetta 1.8t?

I was wondering if anyone had a mkiv jetta with a 1.8T, I was wondering if someone could snap a pic of their stock intake all the way down to the throttle body (or as close as can get). I want to see if it's in anyway shape or form similar to the intake on my tdi, so I can pick up an intake...

    20hp in 2 minutes??

crap, it just looks like a $.04 resistor probably plugged in to throw the car into a closed loop system I imagine, or if I'm wrong, I'm just talking out of my ass.

so here it is, my big idea. Lately I've been doing a lot of searching/researching on how to better performance and fuel economy, I've looked at pretty much everything, all the way down to solar panels to try to give some extra amperage to power some weird type of electrolosis machine. anyrate...

    calling all wiring gurus

When I worked for the shipyard in Pearl harbor, we sort of did both. All the connector ends were all crimped, then soldered, and if there was a splice to be made, we used these special heat-shrink connectors that had a ring of solder in them. those were the bomb. no soldering iron needed...

Any accountants out there that could lend a hand

I got it figured out. I never realized that I worked as much as I did in the last 6 weeks (just shy of 500 hours), and that they're about 4 weeks behind on my reports (plus the 2 weeks worth that I just sent in =6 weeks) anyrate, I should have one hell of a pay check next week.

Any accountants out there that could lend a hand

I really suck at this, and basically what it would involve is going through all my timesheets and comparing them to my paystubs and looking for errors. The pay would be a % of the $ in errors that are found. Here's the problem, the difference in what I come up with and what my work comes up...

cylinder head mods: what did you do?

My first supra's head was extrude honed, I don't know if it helped or not, but the intake ports were huge...

    dammit, it happened again

I don't really care for it-too hard to tune properly. I was babied with my AVC-R, I like that way better than the Profec.

Neither, I'm kinda homeless....I moved to Vegas for work, though I am almost never there, my job is 100% travel-I usually shack up in a Holiday Inn or a Hilton of some sort.

    dammit, it happened again

I should quit quittin', I'm not really any good at it, (way to go Grant for re-kindling the flame) as it seems I have started yet another project. I just picked up my friend's old supra in hawaii for less than a song, since he got sent to the slammer for 4 years. the downside is that the motor...
