Are there going to be any issues of rubbing with this setup? Im guessing tehre wouldnt be being that most setups imi seeing are 9.5, then the problems start.

I feel for you and many can agree that when parts were developed for this car, No thought was done or no one cared enough to test fit. especially with the mani. Seems like quick measurements were done and no prototype and they said fuck it, time to make money. it's really sad when you buy a part...
yes i know it wont let you lock it with the key in.
i took apart mostly everything and backed out the only screw on the inside plate that holds the latch and was able to turn the lock back the normal way. How it got like this i have no idea.
And i was working on the throttle cable linkage...
tried wd-40 i soaked it and also teh 1jz swap. :icon_bigg
still nothing...
im out there now taking the whole assembly apart. i did notice there is a small crack in the thin metal behind the handle and the handle does not line up right. i should get it.
if not ill have to go 2jz.:sarcasm:
ok, i had the drivers door open for a while when i was working on it in the garage and now it wont close. it's definitely the latch is not hooking and when i put the key in and lock/unlock it it triggers something electronically and locks right back up after unlocking it. WTF
