    I did pull the efi fuse while doing compression check, always do. Just put a 180* thermostat in and a new rad cap (other cap was still pretty new, but wanted to try another) Made no difference> my timing is 10 degrees BTDC with the wire joining the Te1 and E1 in the diagnostic port...

    should i go back to the 192* thermostat? or go with a bit lower and get a 180* ? ? any experience with that? i know this 160 is too low and takes forever for my car to reach operating temp.

    temp gauge!

    my compression is 165-170 across all cylinders. still think i might have a "slow leaking HG" ?? weird thing is the waterfall sound is only sometimes.

    i have that waterfall sound too.... but i have tried to raise my car up and bleed the air out, doesnt seem to work.

    Cylinder Compression Numbers

    Just wanted to see what everyone thinks of these numbers. The previous owner told me the head gasket had been re-done by Toyota recently. I am thinking of upgrading to a metal HG with ARP for my power goals in the future, but I also dont know if maybe i already have one!? who knows...

    mine has NEVER gone more than half.. its *always* right at half or a tiny bit below.. and i have a newer thermostat as well.
