Just a little background: newly replaced headgasket (comp checked, 160-165 in all cyl), new plugs, newer wires, Only code I get is 51-AC isn't hooked up, Car has a 3" exhaust from the turbo back, no boost leaks or anything like that. Timing is set to 13 degrees. Running autolite coppers...

OP- No engine bay pics? wtf?! lol Also, when you do the bushings, if you do the rears, DO NOT take the bushings out of the rear diff bracket. When I had to replace mine, there were only 3 left in North America. I have had 0 problems 'fitting in'. This site is much different than CS.com...

... Don't run a super upgraded clutcxh and slicks. I ran on a w58 on a swap car for a loooong time, and it's still going. The w58 shifts smoother but takes less abuse, the r154 shifts rougher but handles much more power.

If it runs fine until it gets warmed up and then goes to heck... I'd put my uneducated bet on the coil packs. *edit* I've never seen/replaced/had trouble w/ a crank sensor on a 7mgte... lol

pretty much, yeah. well, I work 7a-7p and she works 7p-7a... so we dont see each other a few nights a week, but I think the long stretch off together more than makes up for it.
