So, first things first. I'm going to do a leak down and a compression check. But after that I neeed to figure out mounting. The car is a super early 89, So the harness and subframe are different that you'd expect. the subframe is the pre-89 style, So I'm going to have to fab some mounts at the...
Yep, I finally dropped the cash and got it!!
I'm planning on getting it installed by the end of the month. Plus I plan on documenting everyhting on here that way it's a lot easier for anyone else that wants to do the same
and here's the swapee victim.
My plans for now are to stick...
hmmmm...... all of the engineers I deal with here call it sweating... I'm not an engineer, so I'm not even going to argue with either of you. lol it's a lose lose situation. But maybe I'll ask and see if I get a corrected answer, and a misnomer identified.

I'm guessing IJ is close. I had the same problem with the old supra and it was the servo, but on my newer supra it was the ac controller box that failed right after I changed it out, so I had to find a third box.
Well, if anyone was wondering.... Yes, I'm still working on these. But I've been having problems finding a shop other than the one I work at that's reliable. So Tomarrow I'm going to be talking to the guys at billet balls (They make billet shifter knobs) about making them for me.
